I first bought a silicone protector, but I didn't like the rubbery feel of it. Plus, it is a lot easier to take the player in and out of this leather case than the silicone cover. Also, this case protects the WHOLE player when closed, unlike with the silicone one. I have a screen protector on my Zen X-Fi, but I like the extra protection. There are a lot of things that could scratch the front of the player!

I have to hand it to iNique--they really do go the extra mile to provide quality, custom cases. The quirkiness of a "veggie leather" case was much too interesting for me to pass up, and as far as I can tell, I'd be hard pressed to discern it from the real thing.

The case itself is excellently crafted, perfectly enclosing my Zen X-fi2 without any issue. It's snug and secure, yet easy enough to push out when the need arises. It comes with not one, but two--count 'em, two--micro SD card holders, so load up music and videos galore for trips on the road. The stand works well with a little fumbling, and maybe an option to snap back the front panel of the cover when doing so would be a nice thing to consider. All buttons, the SD slot and the speaker are accessible to boot, so that's a very minor nitpick, all things considered. Seems quite durable, too. Haven't tried the Wrap-M technology, though, so that's anyone's call.

My only complaint is a slightly sloppy stitch job. If the manufacturers paid a bit more attention to this minor aesthetic issue, then there would literally be nothing to criticize. The clip's also a little flimsy, to be frank--feel free to reinforce it with a more robust carabiner(smaller size) if you wish.
